Audi Presents to Susquehanna Valley School Business Officials

(State College, PA) - Partner John G. Audi of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams recently presented an educational program on “Negotiation Trends and Strategies” to the Susquehanna Valley Area School Valley Business Officials (SVASBO) on November 11, 2015 in State College, PA.
The program covered legal issues and litigation trends in the areas of salaries; the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA); the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); the Affordable Care Act; outsourcing and bargaining.
The group is a subset of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO), an association of some 3,000 individuals working in professional and administrative positions within school entities.
John Audi has 35 years of experience in education and public sector labor law. His vast experience touches all aspects of labor relations matters, including arbitrations, bargaining, PLRB hearings, and related court litigation. He served for 11 years as an administrative law judge for the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board and he is a frequent lecturer on labor, employment and education legal matters.
