Sweet Stevens Expands to Northern Tier of Pennsylvania with New Office, Attorney

Troy, PA – Casandra K. Blaney has joined the law firm of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP as Special Counsel. She will focus her practice on solicitor services to school entities, real estate transactions/abstract services, and oil, gas and mineral law.
Blaney will work from the firm’s newest office, located at 512B Elmira Street in Troy, PA, the fourth Pennsylvania office of the law firm, which also has locations in New Britain, Hershey, and Pittston.
Blaney brings experience in business, commercial, and personal civil litigation. In real estate, she handles contract and property transactions and related abstract services. She will also provide guidance to school entities in the smooth operation of business and in oil, gas and mineral related matters. She has also counseled clients on the formation of business entities, estate planning and administration and family law.
Previously, Blaney served as managing partner at a private sector law firm and as managing attorney for the nonprofit North Penn Legal Services in Bradford and Susquehanna counties. During her tenure with the latter, she offered civil representation across a spectrum of legal areas, including family and elder law, employment, housing, education, and consumer credit.
Blaney is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and Lycoming College. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bradford County Bar Association. She resides in Canton, PA, and is active in community organizations, including the Warrior Booster Club and the Canton Little League.
