Tom Warner to Present at Philadelphia Special Education Conference
News Release
(New Britain, PA) Education Law attorney Thomas C. Warner of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams is a scheduled presenter at the upcoming “Snapshots of Special Education Law” conference on July 28, 2015 from 8:30 A.M. to 3:45 P.M. The program, which is presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, will take place at the CLE Conference Center in Philadelphia’s Wanamaker Building at 1010 Juniper Street and will also be simulcast live to 12 locations throughout Pennsylvania. Attendees are eligible to receive six CLE credits.
The conference offers a “snapshot” look at four independent areas of special education in the commonwealth: an introduction to special education law; discipline and behavioral intervention; legally-defensible monitoring; and the truant disabled student. Additionally, networking breaks are planned throughout the day so that attendees can meet and learn from others in the audience.
Tom Warner’s practice focuses primarily on the representation of Pennsylvania school districts and entities in matters of special education. He also spends a significant amount of time providing in-service training to school districts and to fellow attorneys at conferences on various issues related to special education. He was recently named a “Rising Star” on the 2015 Super Lawyers list.
